At RowShare, our mission is to make your collaborative tools smoother, more practical, and secure. Today, we’re thrilled to announce a major upgrade: real-time collaboration in your RowShare tables!

What’s changing?

From now on, when multiple users work on the same table, you’ll see their edits in real time. No more refreshing the page to access the latest updates. This is a game-changer for how you collaborate:

  • Instantly visible edits: When a teammate edits a cell, it’s highlighted with a color to indicate it’s being modified. Once the edit is saved, it appears in your table immediately.
  • Real-time row additions and deletions: New rows added or removed appear instantly, as if you were working together in the same room.
  • Improved data integrity: The risk of losing edits is drastically reduced. You’re always working on the most up-to-date version, avoiding conflicts or rejected changes.

A balance between fluidity and stability

To ensure a smooth experience, major changes, such as adding or removing columns, will still require you to refresh the page. Don’t worry—a notification will prompt you when it’s the right time to do so. This approach ensures a perfect mix of speed and data reliability.

A boost for administrators

Table administrators get an extra perk: they can now see who is currently connected to the table.
This is particularly handy for:

  • Checking if others are actively editing before making major structural changes.
  • Ensuring that those assigned to update the table are actively working on it.

Why does this matter for you?

  • Boost productivity: Save time by no longer juggling updates or refreshing the page.
  • Seamless teamwork: Keep everyone aligned, even when working simultaneously.
  • Real-time visibility: Stay up to date with live changes for perfect coordination.
  • Smart oversight: Administrators can adapt their work based on user activity.

This update is a testament to our commitment to providing you with tools that are intuitive and tailored to your needs. With RowShare, collaboration becomes effortless—even when working remotely.

Ready to try it out? Log in to your table and experience real-time collaboration today!

As always, your feedback is invaluable. Share your thoughts and ideas with us to keep improving RowShare together. 😊

Imagine you maintain an employee directory—people get hired, transfer to different branches, and so on. You use Excel to centralize all this information, including hiring dates, positions, office locations, and more.

How to insert attachments in Excel
Do you ever need to insert files into Excel to share more detailed information with your co-workers? Whether it's inserting PDFs or Word documents, it seems simple enough: just click on Insert, Text, Object, choose your file, and voilà! But then what? Your file ends up floating around your spreadsheet, not anchored to a specific cell. To sort or move it along with the rest of your data, what you really need is to place it within a single cell. So, how can you do this? Not to mention the exponentional size of your spreadsheet.
